Necromancer VFX - Escape Studios

This was a project done during my Masters(Technical Art for Games and VFX) at Escape Studios for the Realtime FX Module.

For this project we were required to produce an Art Bible(A reference book and VFX Plan), 3 separate Niagara Systems, 3 personally authored textures, and 3 personally authored materials.

I authored my textures using Substance 3D Painter, Substance 3D Designer, Photoshop and Embergen for a Fluid Simulation Flipbook.

I then put everything together inside of Unreal using the Material Editor, Niagara System, Sequencer. I Modified existing character materials and the skeletal mesh bone sockets to attach my Niagara Systems to the Character. Finally, inside the sequencer I exposed parameters from my Materials and Niagara Systems to better control my effects.
